or vsamplers lfo routed to a distortion vsts drive amount. for example vsampler envelope routed too a reverbs wet/dry amount. ġ) great quality options with ultra/perfect quality easily rivalling the quality of emux and surpassing other softsamplers like kontakt/exs24/halion for pitching samples.Ģ) customiseable & skinable gui u can almost apply the logic screensets principal here, each edit window type in vsampler can be re-sized and vsampler will remember those settingsĤ) patches can be saved as compress for web transfer or just wav so u can keep editing whenever u need too etc.ĥ) built in pattern sequencer for arppegiations & beat patterns etc, i dont use patterns for beats myself (no grooves) but i have found many practical uses for this alreadyĦ) really cool rex import, when u import a rex its auto mapped over the whole keyboard BUT not one slice per zone (which can easily be done) but each key plays the whole break synced to tempo, but each loops hits are pitched up/down.ħ) more than capable envelopes/lfos/filters/fx & mod matrixĨ) and this is my fave :) the ability to load any vst into vsampler then route vsamplers lfo/envelope etc too any vst parameter. I then stumbled across and had a read of the features in vsampler and i was so impressed i found a "demo" copy and tried it, id tried it about 6 months before on a different version and it was so unstable i just binned it.īUT this time vsampler was behaving so i gave it a full testing. and the GUI is beautifull as it makes things as easy as they could be. I then found shortcircuit which is a VERY cool sampler with really nice filters & custom lfos, and a mod matrix etc. if/when this sampler works stably tho it will be a GREAT sampler imo :)
also i personally think those z-plane filters are just pure gimmikyness, usefull in some situs i guess but generally not v usefull imo. I tried emux which apart from the GUI which is one of the worst GUI's ive ever used (especially the mapping section) is great in theory, quality & options are cool but it doesnt having accurate timing so its kinda useless atm. Im happy with the exs24 but i wanted something a bit more advanced in case i wanted to do more interesting sampling. Ok this is the second time ive posted this, but i feel ive actually use vsampler enough now to really recommend it.
